2014 Mazda3 iSport

After much prayer, and searching on the internet for good car deals, Hubby and I found a slightly used 2014 Mazda3 iSport at a dealer in Savannah.

The “official” color is Titanium Flake but it looks brown, doesn’t it?

I think we’ll be very pleased with the Mazda. It has a lot of bells and whistles that we have yet to learn. It’s usual miles per gallon is around 40. but Hubby was getting 55 mpg at 55 mph coming home! My Suzuki V-Strom gets 61 mpg and it weighs a fraction of the Mazda3. Isn’t that amazing?

Savannah traffic wore me to a frazzle this afternoon. I’m sitting here nursing a cool one trying to calm my jangled nerves. If I lived in that town I would be on some serious drugs. *lol* Thank Heaven for our little country estate. It’s humble, but it’s soothing.

    I grew up on Mazda’s and had a Mazda hatchback, my dad swears on them and Nissan. Liam also wants to know, did you trade in the Jeep that you had? Just wondering, LOL.

    1. Tell Liam thanks. 🙂 We sold my beloved Jeep Liberty to a guy that lives in Michigan in December 2013. Because of my girth cough the seats had become torturous. So, we only had the Nissan PU for almost 3 years. It was time to get an economical something-or-other for visiting family in far away places that wasn’t two wheels. Too rough on the ‘ol body doing long distance trips now. God is good and supplied us a way. Luv ~:)

    1. Thank you for the kind thoughts and wishes. It is exciting. I told the bank manager before leaving to visit the car dealer that all this ‘high finance’ makes me feel like a big shot. He just laughed. Such a young fella. I think he’s finally caught onto my unusual sense of humor. ~:)

    1. Thank you. It does feel like a good choice. It’s only a 4 cylinder though and I wish it had more horsepower but I can’t complain about the mileage. Guess I’m like Tim Allen “Needs more POWER!” lol Have a blessed day. ~:)
