Gobsmacked By God’s Mercy

cardinals-good-morning

Have you ever been so gobsmacked that it renders you speechless? Well, that’s me today. I have never in my 60 years on earth done this but I stayed up with Hubby until 3 am last night to watch the election results. Well, when it was announced that Trump & Pence won, the tears of joy began to flow.

God answers prayer. It’s HIS mercy that we still have an America to wake up to.  May there continue to be a great spiritual movement in our country to get people saved. Thank you LORD. Thank you. May YOU always win on the throne of our hearts.

“Every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights; with Him there is no variation or shadow cast by turning” [James 1:17].

Can I get an Amen?  🙂

And how about a Wordless Wednesday thrown in for good measure. Yep, that’s me right now (and I’m sure millions of other true Americans). Glorying in His mercy, kindness and love. (PS: That’s the dirt road that leads to our country home. Purdy, ain’t it. *giggle*)

May your day be blessed my friends.

  1. Sparky, the Donald got my vote but I must be honest, I voted against HRC and not so much for him. I am very concerned about his character. Of this I am certain, God is on the Throne and no ballot box will ever change this, that and fhe fact that He works in the heart of men gives me hope for this Great Nation!

    1. Thank you for the vote. It all helps. I can understand the ‘anx’ about The Donald. I’ve had that too but my impression now is that he’ll be a type of Winston Churchill. A warrior when we really need one. God is good and He is indeed always on His throne. Blessings to you and yours. ~:)

      1. I certainly hope so. His speech last nite was encouraging. I hope Franklin Graham has an open invitation to the White House. He and Pence may play an important part. I am greatly encouraged however let us remember to pray wighout ceasing. Thank You Jesus!

    2. I think we all have some concern about how Trump will conduct himself. However, this is in God’s hands so I will lean on that and pray for the man…he needs it! We all do…. 🙂

      1. Well said! I must say I have not always been very diligent in this regard but as I get older I see the need for praying for all of those in government more and more. I do hope he is a Winston Churchill!

  2. Trump is not perfect but God has often used the imperfect to confound the world-wise and bring his will to light. Pray for Trump that he will lead with mercy, wisdom and understanding.

  3. My Scripture this morning was Psalm 100:1 Make a joyful noise unto the Lord, all ye lands. When I opened my Bible and read this, I knew God had answered prayer. I had not even heard who won yet! Now we need to keep praying that God will lead and guide President Trump.

    1. You know, I forgot to look at the list this morning! God is so good. HE knew the outcome of course. AMEN! Thank you for sharing that. Hope your day is happy. Luv ~:)

  4. I really have no worries about the next POTUS Donald Trump. He is an astute businessman who knows how to delegate and gather good people around him. He will do that and will get us back on track. I am so thrilled and excited. I wasn’t expecting it, listening to the polls, but we not only won the electoral votes but also the popular majority too. Our country went RED. The people have spoken. Praise God!!

    1. Yeah, really, I have no qualms about him either. I know he’s no ‘angel’ but neither are any of us. At least he’s a true American in his heart. I wasn’t aware that the country went red too. Well done. I take it that finally white men are voting again. Praise the LORD. Thank you for sharing that. God bless ya. ~:)
