Future Plans

For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” [Jeremiah 29:11]

What a glorious promise that is, ‘ey!? God our Father never lies and never forgets either. He is so good to us.

Not much going on in our neck of the woods this week. Because the weather improved so drastically, we did manage to clear out a lot of old plants in preparation for Spring. We made a mutual decision to give up vegetable gardening, I think. Might still plant a Yellow Squash plant or two. However, there’s just too much work for too little reward in this poor soil. So, we plan to stick with flowering bushes, etc. I’ll be sure to photograph the progress if, and when, it happens. The rain surprised me half way through the clean up, thus no photos. It’s raining in earnest now. That’s a good thing because it helps keep our little country dirt road in drive able condition. God is good and knows all our needs.

Have a blessed day.
