Another Project In The Wind

Steve was in a picture taking mood today. Bless his little pea-pickin’ heart. giggle The Honda CB1100 forum he is a member of was asking for photos of the members Honda’s next to windmills. Luckily, we have one of those in our yard. That’s mine on the right, by the way. You know, the pretty one.  😉

Then, he talked me into holding the dogs for a photo shoot. Can everyone say “cheese biscuit”?! lol

He also snapped a candid photo of me shopping for more flowering bushes at County Farm Plant Company in Baxley. They have a super place with acres and acres of plants.

Ok, so, I’ve got more plants to put in the former garden area. I’m a glutton for punishment. We also ordered a Golden Rain Tree (Koelreuteria paniculata) from County Farm. I was hoping they had one in stock. Guess I’ll have to wait for more “fun”.

Thank you for visiting my humble blog. Have a beautiful weekend folks!

god loves you

    1. Your land is probably a lot wetter than ours. I had a Japanese Maple when we lived in Jacksonville but I didn’t keep it watered enough, so, it died. Don’t have one here because we live on kinda a small sand hill that is mostly dry. No Ginko but another dear friend has one in her yard not far from here. They are pretty. Our property is mostly Red Cedars, various Oaks, Sycamore and Red Maple. ❤

    1. Thanks. blush It’s the dogs. They make everything look charming.
It is warm, about 78* or so. I’m so sorry it’s snowing so much for y’all. Just think how you can laugh at us when we’re sweltering in 100* heat and humidity come August. UGH! lol 🙂 ❤

      1. I think the weather issue is because I haven’t been able to enjoy it much when I went in Nov for surgery, it was cold and snowing and it has remained so, lol. I can’t wait for Bennetts to open here, it’s the local nursery.
