This is just a normal weekend for us of making sure all the wheels are turning in greased grooves here at Red Bird Acres. All this lovely rain has made the road ride-able, thus we have taken the bikes out for a spin or two. When it stops raining is when the sand on one mile of country road gets scary. Thank you LORD for this blessing of rain. May it continue all Summer long. My grass and plants are very happy too.
The AeroSeal on the air conditioning ducting has worked out wonderfully! The house smells fresh and clean. The musky smell is gone. The thick layers of unexplained dust are gone. My allergies have cleared up. I’m so glad we had this done. Praise God from whom ALL blessings flow! ❤
Steve’s mother has, for all intensive purposes, been sent home to die. Well, she is 88 years old. The surgeon(s) say that she is too frail for surgery, thus the bladder fistula caused by years of diverticulitis in her colon, have taken their toll. She’s on a witches brew (I call it) of antibiotics and back at her home. Please pray with me that we can get her moved down to our neck of the woods. Thanks so much. But, God’s will be done, of course. We’re trying to secure a place for her at the local Baptist Village. None of us having much funds is a bit of a hindrance but God is bigger than any bank account. We’re trusting in His wisdom and guidance. And, no, she can not stay in my house. That’s another post. 🙂 I love her and will never purposely harm her, or anyone, but I like a Drama Free life. 😉 My nerves are too fragile. ‘Nuff said.
So, I hope everyone has a happy, carefree, safe Holiday weekend. May the LORD bless and keep you.
