The Cassia fistula I planted this past Summer is finally blooming. It’s not real showy yet, hopefully next year it will produce more. Here’s a little about the plant from Wikipedia:
“Cassia fistula, known as the golden rain tree, canafistula and by other names, is a flowering plant in the family Fabaceae. The species is native to the Indian subcontinent and adjacent regions of Southeast Asia. Wikipedia”
We’re heading out to the Church with others to pack boxes to be distributed next week for Thanksgiving. It’s a culmination of the efforts of Heaven Saints Motorcycle Club and FAITH Riders Turkey Run we had earlier in the month to raise money to feed those less fortunate. These boxes will contain, hopefully, all the essentials for someone without much means to have a happy Thanksgiving. Pray for us that God is glorified, people saved, and joyful memories are made in His name. Thanks. “To God be the glory, great things He hath done …”
I feel so blessed to be a part of this! I hope your day is blessed too.
