Today’s Devotional
Psalm 56:3 NIV

~ ~ ~

Psalm 56:3 is a good verse to memorize. So much of Psalms is. Awhile back, I learned for the first time about “step scriptures” in God’s Holy Word. Anyone else know about that? It’s something that the Jews did by reciting God’s Holy Word while proceeding up the steps of the Temple? I think. My head is so thick from not sleeping well last night it’s making my mind foggy but I believe that’s what the “step scriptures” were used for. A form of worship. I’ll have to look it up again.

Not much going on today. I have another appointment at the Dermatologists to be sure the post surgery infection is going away. I’m going to say, yes, it is. It looks good to my untrained eye but would prefer a professional opinion at this point. After giving it much thought, I’m pretty sure that this whole thing is my fault. I can be terribly careless about medical care. :\ Just like right now, I should make my 6 month appointment for a general checkup but have been delaying it for over a month. I’ll have to go, though, to keep getting life-sustaining medicine. I so dislike going to the doctor for anything. Maybe the Rapture will happen and I won’t have to go, you know? 🙂 Hey, I’ll look for any excuse.

We’re suffering from a terrible heat wave and drought now since Hurricane Dorian skirted past us without so much as a by-your-leave. These systems take all the moisture from our air and leave us high and dry. Most of us are praying for rain.

And lastly, today’s Word Of The Day is: Organon. I should have used an organon to learn more about the step scriptures.

I can’t wait to get back home from this appointment and collapse. I’m so fatigued from lack of sleep. Hope you have a blessed day folks! ❤

    1. Yes, they sure can. I’m grateful for Doctors but this going back and to all the time is wearing. I’m much better, according to the Derma Doc! Praise merciful LORD Jesus. Oh, and I’ve been praying for you and Jim. Y’all are such special people. Can’t stand it when you’re not happy or unwell. Please rest and know that you are very loved. ❤
