Ok, a few days ago, I wrote the brief article Let’s Be Those Points Of Light. In it I mentioned that I thought that maybe God doesn’t ‘see’ those who are living in sin (i.e. that they might be as animals to him). Well, after reading awhile in Proverbs chapter 15 verse 3 God gently showed me I was in error. “The eyes of the LORD are everywhere, keeping watch on the wicked and the good.” [NIV] So, I take Him at His word. He never lies. He sees everything and everyone. Period.
I don’t ever want to misdirect someone concerning anything but especially God’s Holy Word! 🙂 That’s why it’s important to never trust someone’s opinion. Be as the Berean’s (in the Book of Acts) and always check when a preacher, or even a well-meaning friend, blush says it may be such-and-such. So, I apologize for even putting that thought out there.
These study’s our Sunday School is doing virtually in the Book of Proverbs are quite enlightening. Being a Grace Believer, I’ve pretty much stuck with the Apostle Paul’s teachings since he’s our Apostle to the Gentiles. It’s been good for me to study the “old” writings. Thanks to guidance by His Holy Spirit, I’m beginning to really understand what Paul wrote in his letter to Timothy, “All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.” [II Timothy 3:16-17] I’ve read that about a kazillion times and it’s finally hitting home. lol Guess I’m just a slow learner.
Oh, and for those who have been friends “forever” here in Bloggyland, I have a prayer request please. My 72 year old husband, Steve, is ill. He’s had back pain for several months and was being attended to by an Orthopedic surgeon in Savannah. He had an MRI yesterday. The scan revealed it’s not his back (shock!!) but instead his right kidney is enlarged and so is the urethra. He did have trouble with kidney stones a few years ago. Perhaps this is connected somehow. Anyway, today, we are waiting to hear from his usual Urologist for an appointment. He’s a good Doc. We’ve both used him before. Just gotta wait for things to go through the channels. Please pray for him? And that the appointment will be soon please, etc. Thanks so much. There’s nothing like the prayers of the God’s saints bringing petitions to His Throne of Grace. God bless you all for praying. ❤ If you have prayer request, please share. I love to pray for others. We’re all in this together until we’re rejoicing at the feet of Jesus for all eternity.
I hope y’all have a lovely Thursday.
Paul’s instruction to Timothy, his son in the Faith, is meant for us all and I know I am lacking much in obedience as I use to dedicate time every day to Bible study. I need to get back into that good habit again.

I will keep y’all posted. Thanks. ❤
He has left us instruction on everything in His Holy Word. I take so much comfort in reading the Bible too.

Thank you for praying for Steve. He is my life.
There’s so much good advice, I feel like printing all of Proverbs out and plastering the walls with His Word. I need something to keep me in line. lol
Thanks for stopping by! Your blog is great! Blessings. 🙂

He doing better, surprisingly, since we’re still waiting to hear if he has an appointment with his Urologist yet. I’m thankful he’s not in a lot of pain, anyway. Thanks for asking! Y’all stay strong and keep praying. 🙂
