Friday Foto Friends: After The Rain

There’s no linky. Friday Foto Friends is only for fun. We’ve been blessed with lots of rain of late. The temperatures have moderated, it’s been so ‘cool’ for Southeast Georgia. The temp’s have been staying in the mid-to-high 70s. It’s so lovely. Before I mowed today, Steve and I took a walk around the estate and try to photograph all the flowers and wildlife. If our summers were always this pleasant, that would be a real treat. I enjoy where we live. It’s not perfect but it’s close enough until I’m with Jesus forever in His perfect Home. Enjoy the photos! Thank you for stopping by.

Good luck with that … 😉

  1. Love the cartoon…so perfect. People are so clueless about what true freedom is. Anyway, I love your pictures too. You also live in a lovely “estate”. Temps in the high 70’s? Really? I’ll be right up!!! Have a great weekend.

  2. It’s really cool here and has been raining like crazy – 8 inches in the last 2 days. Rain is predicted for the next week!
    The cartoon is exactly right.

    1. Thanks. That old barn is up in Appling County, about 10 miles north of our spread, en route to Baxley. We’ve been watching it slowly deteriorate into the ground. Ashes to ashes. Dust to dust. The now abandoned barn adjoins a lovely, huge acreage that is usually covered in cracked corn or soy or cotton. I wonder how many stories could be told by that old barn. For me, living in the country is always a treat. One never knows what’s around the next bend. 🙂 Blessings. ❤
